Carolina Panthers 38, New York Giants 35
While everybody and their mother is going to talk about Odell Beckham Jr. and Josh Norman, Jasper Brinkley had a great game, finishing the day with nine total tackles.
Chicago Bears 17, Minnesota Vikings 38
Bad news up front: Alshon Jeffery tweaking his hamstring during the game and only caught one pass. The good news is that the one pass was for a touchdown! Huzzah! Captain Munnerlyn had a fine day for himself as well, racking up three tackles.
Atlanta Falcons 23, Jacksonville Jaguars 17
Aw, no stats for Patty DiMarco in this one, but I know he blocked his absolute hardest. That's all we can really ask for.
Houston Texans 16, Indianapolis Colts 10
Solid day for the Texans defense here. Our man Jadeveon Clowney had four tackles, including one for a loss, a QB hit, and a pass deflection to cap it off. Johnathan Joseph had two tackles.
Tennessee Titans 16, New England Patriots 33
Another missed extra point for Ryan Succop, and that makes two for his career, both coming this season. But he made a field goal, and three is bigger than one, so I can't imagine anybody but his special teams coach is crying over it.
Buffalo Bills 25, Washington Redskins 35
Kansas City Chiefs 34, Baltimore Ravens 14
Cleveland Browns 13, Seattle Seahawks 30
Green Bay Packers 30, Oakland Raiders 20
Denver Broncos 27, Pittsburgh Steelers 34
Miami Dolphins 14, San Diego Chargers 30
Melvin Ingram had a whopper of a day, finishing with six total tackles and two sacks. A nice way to say goodbye to San Diego, if the Chargers indeed move to Los Angeles.
Cincinnati Bengals 24, San Francisco 49ers 14
Woah, six punt returns and a kick return for Bruce Ellington, nice! Longest punt return was 17 yards, and his kick return was for 34 yards. He even had the ball thrown his way once! He didn't catch it, but still.
Arizona Cardinals 40, Philadelphia Eagles 17
DEEEEEEEEEEJAAAAAAAAAY! Our man recorded his first stats as a Cardinal, with three tackles, a pass deflection, and a fumble recovery. Ya boy is back!
