NFL Gamecock Roundup: Racing to the finish line

Carolina Panthers 13, Atlanta Falcons 20
-No stats for Patrick DiMarco in this one, but I don't think he's crying after beating the previously undefeated Panthers. That heals a lot of wounds.

Dallas Cowboys 6, Buffalo Bills 16

San Francisco 49ers 17, Detroit Lions 32
Hey now, our boy Bruce Ellington actually got some catches in this one! Bruce had three catches for 53 yards, a season-best performance for him. Of course, he still put in plenty of work on the special teams side, returning two kicks for 57 yards. For the Lions, Devin Taylor got comfortable in the 49ers backfield. He had three tackles, including two for a loss, a QB hit, and a nice big sack.

Indianapolis Colts 18, Miami Dolphins 12

Chicago Bears 26, Tampa Bay Buccaneers 21

Pittsburgh Steelers 17, Baltimore Ravens 20

Cleveland Browns 13 Kansas City Chiefs 17

New England Patriots 20, New York Jets 26

Houston Texans 34, Tennessee Titans 6
Alright, bad news out of the way first: Jadeveon Clowney left this game early with a foot injury. The good news is that head coach Bill O'Brien said that Clowney is fine. Fingers crossed. At least he got a tackle and a pass deflection before leaving. Oddly enough, Johnathan Joseph recorded the same exact stats. The Titans played so poorly that the services of Ryan Succop were not needed this Sunday.

Jacksonville Jaguars 27, New Orleans Saints 38

Green Bay Packers 8, Arizona Cardinals 38
D.J. Swearinger's contrubution was a small one: just a solo tackle from our man. But I'm sure he mentally willed the offense to score all those points, so you're welcome.

St. Louis Rams 23, Seattle Seahawks 17
Woah, Jared Cook, settle down there. One catch for five yards? Don't wanna tear the turf off with those blazing cleats. Really took it to 'em.

New York Giants 17, Minnesota Vikings 49
Well, Jasper Brinkley did what he could for the Giants, racking up seven tackles, but this was an absolute drubbing. The Giants offensive line was so bad, even Captain Munnerlyn got in a QB hit. Throw in three tackles and a pass deflection, and his effort is respective of how this game went for these two teams.

Cincinnati Bengals 17, Denver Broncos 20
Darian Stewart was somewhat limited in recovery from an injury, but he was still banging bodies on the turf. Stewart ended his night with three total tackles.
