(List compiled by Trey Asbelle, Chris Clark, Paul Collins, Scott Hood, Rixon Lane, and Chris Wellbaum)
No. 1: Oct. 9, 2010 - South Carolina 35 Alabama 21
Why It Makes The List
South Carolina had never beaten a top-ranked football team and Alabama was the elite program in the nation. The Crimson Tide were the defending national champions. Winners of 19 consecutive games. 29 consecutive regular season games. Nine consecutive games against ranked opponents. None of this mattered as Stephen Garcia played the game of his life, tossing three touchdowns in a near-perfect performance. Marcus Lattimore rushed for two touchdowns, while Alshon Jeffery did Alshon Jeffery things. The Gamecocks took a 21-3 lead in the first half and never looked back, beating Alabama by two touchdowns and shocking the college football world in the most memorable game of Steve Spurrier's tenure.
