NFL Gamecock Roundup: Gilmore Sounds Off on Jaguars Receiver

-The Jacksonville Jaguars had a big game through the air against Stephon Gilmore and the Buffalo Bills' secondary, highlighted by the performance of wide receiver Allen Robinson. Robinson caught six passes for 98 yards and a touchdown, and is currently leading the league in touchdown catches and receptions over twenty yards.

That didn't stop Gilmore from brushing off Robinson when speaking with "He caught, I don't know how many passes," Gilmore said. "He wasn't tough to guard. If you watch the film it will tell you that ... He's OK. He's an NFL receiver. Average."

I hate to say it, but Stephon is outright wrong on this charge. I understand trying to brush off a bad performance against a good receiver, but credit ought to be given where it's due, and Robinson is the sixth-leading receiver in the NFL. Simply put, the Jaguars won the game, and they won it through the air. If Stephon doesn't like it, then Stephon needs to step up.

There's not much else really to report on so far this week, so here's an picture of Melvin Ingram's child he posted on Instagram. Cute as a button!:

Perhaps most touching of all of these is Marcus Lattimore, finally getting to live his dream... of going to Cape Cod.

Childhood dream came true today... don't wake me up. I'm never leaving #CapeCod #provincetown
