Game day information

Gamecock fans are encouraged to wear garnet and black to the games and enthusiastically support the team. Our goal is to create a championship experience with integrity, while exhibiting good sportsmanship and maintaining a safe and respectful atmosphere for our teams and fans to enjoy. The Gamecock image is not only shaped by our student-athletes, coaches, students, and faculty, but by our great fans.

In the spirit of sportsmanship, Gamecock fans shall:

* Conduct themselves in a manner that represents their University, the Southeastern Conference, and the NCAA with honor, dignity, and respect
* Not use vulgar, abusive, racist, sexist, demeaning, or intimidating language at any time
* Support the players, coaches, and officials in a positive manner
* Treat the visiting team, coaches, and fans with courtesy and respect at all times
* Demonstrate the qualities of civility and sportsmanship at all times
* Not engage in cheers that are vulgar, crass, or demeaning
* Refrain from throwing objects onto the field for any reason
* Not become inebriated or belligerent
* Refrain from entering the playing field at any time, including after the game
* Be a positive role model for those around them by treating others with courtesy and respect

Noncompliance with the code will result in the fan receiving a Code of Conduct Violation card from Event Management. Individuals issued a second card during the same game will be ejected.

Artificial noisemakers are not permitted in Williams-Brice Stadium and will be confiscated by stadium security.

Wheelchair seating is available at Williams-Brice Stadium. Those fans needing a wheelchair space or accessible seating should visit or call the South Carolina Ticket Office at (803)-777-4274 or toll-free 1-800-4SCFANS. Requests must be received at least 48 hours prior to the event. Deaf or hard of hearing guests are encouraged to utilize the open captioning on the North endzone video board for game-related information.

Should you need immediate assistance, notify the nearest event staff member for directions to the closest first-aid facility, or text "USC" along with your issue and location to 69050. Medical facilities are equipped and staffed as limited first-aid treatment stations. They are located in the following areas:

West Side -- Ground level & West main
West Club -- 100 level
West Upper -- 300 level

Located across from Williams-Brice Stadium inside Gamecock Park, Gamecock Village opens 4.5 hours prior to kickoff (subject to change based on time of kickoff). Attractions include live entertainment, interactive games, sponsor displays and appearances by the Carolina cheerleaders and band.

Lost and found, for Williams-Brice Stadium, will be at the stadium manager's office on the Monday following home games between 8:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. Call 803-777-8506 for any lost and found issues.

Lost patrons and persons looking for lost patrons should proceed immediately to any guest services location throughout the stadium, or notify event staff security, a law enforcement officer, or text the fan help text line (Text "USC" issue and location to 69050).

The ID-A-FAN program is meant to reduce the amount of time a parent/guardian could be separated from their child in a gameday crowd. Adults may register their child by receiving a wrist band with their seating location and contact information to assist with locating the child in the event they become separated during the game. There are ID-A-FAN stations located near the northwest entrance and the southeast entrance in Williams-Brice Stadium (see stadium diagram for ID-A-Fan stations).

Gamecock Walk, the South Carolina football team's grand entrance into Williams-Brice Stadium, begins on the brick walkway in Gamecock Park approximately 2.5 hours prior to kick off. Shortly after, the South Carolina Marching Band walks the length of Gamecock Park while playing the fight song on their way into Williams-Brice Stadium. Teams take the field for pregame warm-ups approximately one hour prior to game time. Pregame festivities, including the South Carolina Marching Band and 2001, begin approximately 30 minutes prior to kickoff. Fans are urged to arrive at their seats at least 30 minutes before kickoff and avoid leaving their seating area other than between quarters, halftime, or at the end of the game.

The University of South Carolina Athletic Department asks that you please adhere to the following FAA policies, per the NOTAM document concerning flight restrictions for sporting events.

No flight operation may take place within 3 nautical miles, nor up to 3,000 feet around the perimeter of the stadium, from one hour prior to the start of the event until one hour after its completion. These restrictions also apply to all unmanned or remote controlled Drone aircrafts. Failure to comply with these restrictions will result in the appropriate legal response from law enforcement officials.

Individuals with disabilities may use the elevators located throughout Williams-Brice Stadium (see stadium diagram for elevator locations).

Early gates (West Premium Gate, The Zone, and East Pass Gate) will open two hours prior to kickoff. All other gates will open one and one-half hours prior to kickoff. Be advised that all persons, upon entering property/stadium, consent to a search of their person and property at the time of entry and during their stay on the premises. Williams-Brice Stadium has a no-re-entry policy; tickets can only be scanned for use once.

The ticket office is located in the Bignon Gameday Center; adjacent to the Northeast entrance of the Springs Brooks Plaza at Williams-Brice Stadium. Tickets cannot be resold on any university controlled grounds, including, but not limited to Williams-Brice Stadium, The Springs Brooks Plaza and Gamecock Park. Lost, stolen, or counterfeit tickets are not the responsibility of management. There is a NO refund or exchange policy in effect on all tickets. Management reserves the right to refuse admission. Every person, regardless of age, must have a ticket to the event. The holder must present ticket upon request. It is the responsibility of the ticket holder to be familiar with all ticket usage rules and regulations which can be found on the back of each ticket. Additional tickets can be purchased through the ticket office if available.

The University of South Carolina is a tobacco-free campus, which includes the ban of electronic cigarettes. The policy is in effect at all University of South Carolina facilities, as well as surrounding property owned, leased, or controlled by the university. These restrictions apply to all areas of Williams-Brice Stadium. We request and appreciate your adherence and compliance with this university policy; violators are subject to ejection.

The South Carolina Ticket Office WILL CALL will be open four hours prior to game time. Will Call is located on the northeast corner of the Springs-Brook Plaza, in the Bignon Gameday Center, adjacent to the East gates.

The possession or consumption of alcohol of any kind in Williams-Brice Stadium is expressly prohibited by university policy. Patrons in violation will be ejected and may be subject to arrest. In an effort to encourage an enjoyable experience for all fans, persons who are intoxicated will be denied entry into the stadium, regardless of ticket possession.

Buses will be accommodated on a first-come, first-served basis in the South Carolina State Fairgrounds. Drivers should use the entrance located at Gate 12 on Rosewood Drive.

Caterers should have proper parking permits to be admitted to private tailgate areas. Permits will not be available from Gamecock Club offices and should be secured with the client.

In the event of inclement weather approaching Williams-Brice Stadium, public address and video announcements will be made to update fans on the situation. Should a lightning strike occur within 8 miles of the stadium, play will be stopped immediately. Play will resume thirty minutes after the last strike occurs within the 8-mile threat radius. Fans are encouraged to exit the venue and seek shelter in their vehicles during weather delays. All ticket stubs should be kept for re-entry into the stadium after the weather threat has cleared. Handicapped parking is available to the general public at Capital City Stadium (should the Capital City Stadium contract be renewed) located at 301 South Assembly St, Columbia, SC 29201. The cost is $10 per car and a shuttle bus to the Fairgrounds is available.

Golf cart shuttle service from the Fairgrounds will be available for those with disabilities beginning two and one-half hours before kickoff and will continue until the game begins. The pickup location is located in the Fairgrounds white section by Row 10 nearest the South Carolina State Fairgrounds entrance. The golf cart shuttles will transport guests to the north corners of Williams-Brice Stadium.

Golf cart shuttle service from Gamecock Park will be available for those with disabilities beginning two and one-half hours before kickoff and will continue until the game begins. Pickup locations are located along the Garnet Way at Quads 1 and 3. Golf cart shuttle transportation to the stadium plaza is available up to one hour prior to kickoff, or as traffic permits, at which point guests will be dropped off at the Premium North location of Gamecock Park.

Return transportation for those with disabilities to the Fairgrounds and Gamecock Park will also be available after the game. Return service begins with five minutes left in the event, until there is no one waiting at the golf cart shuttle stations. Be advised that both pedestrian and vehicular traffic are extremely heavy following the game; therefore, the wait time for golf cart shuttles may be extensive.

There are a limited number of spaces available for disabled Gamecock Club members in each lot. Requests for disabled parking should be made in writing, and accompanied with a copy of the state-issued handicapped placard, to South Carolina Department of Athletics, Football Game Parking, 1304 Heyward St., Columbia, SC 29208.

Pregame shuttle buses will pick up fans from Colonial Life Arena and Capital City Stadium (should the Capital City Stadium contract be renewed) parking lots and transport them to the main gate of the South Carolina State Fairgrounds. At the conclusion of the game, the shuttle bus will pick up from the main gate of the Fairgrounds and transport patrons back to those parking lots.

For the safety of all concerned, the use of these motorized vehicles (other than those authorized) will not be allowed by fans in the vicinity of the stadium on game days. As a reminder, S.C. highway laws do not allow the use of golf carts on roadways outside of a four-mile radius from the registered address or place of business of the registered operator and must be permitted by the S.C Department of Motor Vehicles.

Neither the University of South Carolina nor the Gamecock Club will be liable for loss or damage to vehicles parked or contents on South Carolina properties as well as surrounding property owned, leased, or controlled by the University.

Due to space constraints, limousines are not allowed in Gamecock Club controlled parking areas. Drivers should drop off guests on Key Road, near Williams-Brice Stadium, and seek parking in public lots made available by area businesses.

Media parking is located on Key Road. Members of the media should request parking credentials from the University of South Carolina Media Relations Office. For more information, please call 803-777-5204.

RV Parking is available in the South Carolina State Fairgrounds located on the east side of Assembly St. and at Gate 12 on Rosewood Drive. Please call the Fairgrounds for specifics at 803-799-3387.

The gates to lots within Gamecock Park will open six hours prior to kickoff, but no earlier than 8 a.m. All other parking lot gates will open five hours prior to kickoff, but no earlier than 8 a.m. Vehicles should be removed no later than two hours after the conclusion of the game, or risk being locked in until the following business day.

Restrooms will be available for use once parking lots open in Gamecock Park, along the Garnet Way, and throughout the Fairgrounds. Restrooms are also located on the east side of the Springs-Brooks Plaza at Williams-Brice Stadium.

The University of South Carolina makes every attempt to ensure fans are able to enjoy the festivities surrounding the game. If you observe threatening or illegal behavior, do not hesitate to contact law enforcement or event staff security. If you see something, say something. Uniformed officers from various law enforcement agencies, and event staff security, are stationed throughout the tailgating areas, game day facilities, and Williams-Brice Stadium for your safety. Game day law enforcement personnel are coordinated by the USC Division of Law Enforcement and Safety and can be contacted at (803) 777-4215 or text "USC" issue and location to 69050.

Gamecock Park: Utilize the designated tent zone which is available for each parking space. Drive areas must be cleared to allow access for emergency vehicles.

Fairgrounds: Tailgate in back of your vehicle. Drive areas must be cleared to allow access for emergency vehicles.

Gamecock Park: Tents should be no larger than 10' x 10' and be contained within the designated tent zone.

Fairgrounds: Tents should be no larger than 10' x 10' and be contained within the individual parking space.

Tents should be properly weighted down to ensure the tent does not blow away during high winds. Tents should be dismantled prior to guests leaving for the game. Unattended tents are subject to removal by university officials at their discretion.

Live music is not allowed at tailgating sites.

Charcoal grilling is prohibited in all South Carolina tailgating property owned, leased or controlled by the university. All grilling must be propane gas.

Towing of vehicles impeding the flow of traffic or obstructing the right of a member to park in assigned parking is imminent. Once a tow truck has arrived at the vehicle in violation, negotiations will be strictly between the towing company and the vehicle owner. Any towed vehicles can be recovered at City Garage located at 436 Superior Street. The phone number is 803-765-9780.

The university conveniently places receptacles for the disposal of trash and recyclables throughout the stadium and parking areas. Help us keep the area enjoyable by disposing all bagged trash into these receptacles. Fans are encouraged to utilize recycling containers with appropriate items.

Utility trailers are allowed in the university-operated lots with an appropriate parking pass for the vehicle and an appropriate parking pass for the trailer.

Soliciting or vending of goods or services is strictly prohibited throughout the Springs Brooks Plaza at Williams-Brice Stadium, as well as lots owned or leased by the university on game day. Distribution of political stickers, brochures, promotional items, or other solicitations is strictly forbidden on properties owned or leased by the university.
